Sorry, we do not offer a free or trial membership. The “Why” is a two-part answer.

#1 While “Free to Join” memberships are great profile generators and artificially boost the numbers for some sites, they do more harm than good. What usually happens is people will join for free, won’t upgrade and then leave yet their profile remains. Nobody wants those “Dead” profiles cluttering things up. Then there are the spammers and fake profiles that they create. All of our members are upgraded and real.

#2 Joining a site, just as this one, can cause anxiety for many. The old “Hmmm, a herpes site. I wonder if I know anybody in my area” fear that may be realized because the site offers free memberships. We are a membership only site. This allows our members to be more relaxed and be themselves without the fear of lurkers popping in and out. If you do see someone who you know, don’t worry! There are here for the same reason and want their privacy respected just as much as you do!
